Watch the signs warning that you're about to enter a turtle crossing area. That includes other wildlife as well. Wellington County Council approved the signage in a test tot see the effectiveness. The signs will appear between Concession 4 and Wellington Road 34 in Puslinch.
Centre Wellington Fire Rescue is replacing the two 20-year-old rescue trucks from the Elora and Fergus stations. The Fergus truck will be in service by the end of this month and the Elora truck at the end of June.
Mayor Kelly Linton says the downtowns of Fergus and Elora will really be stepping things up as far as promoting and celebrating Canada's 150th. Canada 150 flags and banners will be a Fergus feature, while the BIA in Elora is getting their Celebrations started.

Wellington OPP are hoping the public can help them identify a suspect involved in a theft from a salem gas-bar last Thursday afternoon at around 4:00 P.M. Police say a male pulled up to a pump in a white four-door Chevorlet Silverado and drove off without paying for $60 worth of gas.
