DUFFERIN COUNTY – An Erin man faces an impaired driving charge in Dufferin County.
On March 2nd, just before 1:30am, Dufferin OPP were conducting a R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) spot-check on Buena Vista Drive, in the Town of Mono.
Police say a driver entered the area and officers were quickly led into an impaired operation investigation.
As a result, a 35-year-old male, from Erin has been charged with Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville to answer to the charges.
The mans driver’s licence was suspended, and vehicle was impounded.
