Fergus Woman Charged with Shop Lifting

Yesterday afternoon at approximately 2:00 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a shoplifting theft at Zehrs Markets on Tower Street South, Fergus.

A loss prevention officer staff had observed a female filling up a bag with items and attempting to leave the store without paying for them.

37-year-old Kirsten WILCOX of Fergus has been charged with Theft Under $5000. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on February 9, 2018 to answer to the charge.
