Guelph female charged with impaired driving
On Aug. 4, 2018, at approximately 7:50 p.m., Guelph Police were called to the area of Elizabeth Street and Victoria Road for a report of a motor vehicle collision.
It is alleged that a red Ford Focus struck a vehicle while making a right turn and continued driving. Police located the Ford Focus at the intersection of Grange Street and Jackson Street.
Police spoke to the driver and detected an odour of alcohol. It is alleged that the driver blew over three times the legal limit.
Suzanne Bateson, a 40-year-old Guelph female was arrested and charged with impaired driving and drive over 80. She is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 21, 2018.
