CENTRE WELLINGTON – Centre Wellington Fire Rescue responded to two separate vehicle fires Monday afternoon.
The first call came to Elora Firefighters at around Noon for a reported tractor fire on 3rd Line northwest of Elora.
Crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire.
Deputy Fire Chief Jonathan Karn tweeted that there were “no injuries or damage to structures”.

There is no word on what caused the fire or damage estimates.
Later that same afternoon at around 4:15 pm Fergus and Elora firefighters were called to a reported fully involved vehicle fire at an address at Pine Meadows in Belwood.
Deputy Fire Chief Jonathan Karn tells The Grand at 101 that it was a vehicle in the driveway at a home. He says there was also damage to the siding on the garage as well as the siding on the house next door.

The vehicle fire almost damaged two homes but firefighters were able to contain the flames just in time.
There is no word on what caused the fire, however Karn says that it started in the engine compartment.
There is no damage estimate at this time and there were no injuries.
