NEWS RELEASE WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP
(TOWNSHIP OF PUSLINCH, ON) – On February 25, 2022, at approximately 4:00 a.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single motor vehicle that had left the roadway and gone down an embankment on Maltby Road East, south of Guelph.
OPP and Guelph/Wellington Paramedic Services responded, and the driver was transported to a local hospital as a precaution.
As a result of the investigation, Tyler BEAUMONT, 22-years-old of Campbellville has been charged with Impaired Operation – 80 Plus (mgs of alcohol in 100mL of blood). A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (A.D.L.S.) and a seven day Vehicle Impoundment were initiated as per statute. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph.
