NEWS RELEASE WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP
(ELORA, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for the public’s assistance after items were stolen from a business and from a vehicle nearby.
On July 22, 2022, the Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a break and enter that had occurred sometime overnight at a business on Wellington Road 7, Elora. Unknown person(s) gained entry into the business by breaking a window. A cash register, laptop and point of sale system were stolen.
A vehicle parked in the parking lot of the business on Wellington Road 7, Elora was also damaged, and a drone valued at $500 was stolen from the vehicle sometime overnight between July 21, 2022 and July 22, 2022.
The investigation into these incidents is continuing.
