FERGUS – The Centre Wellington Optimist Club – Fergus will be holding a charity BBQ at the upcoming Fergus Medieval Faire on July 26th.
The fundraiser is for a local Centre Wellington family, whose daughter was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome at an early age.
In a post to social media, the Optimist Club says a portion of the funds raised from the BBQ will be donated to the DeKortes to help with the expense of installing a track system to help their daughter Scarlett to be cared for at home.
The Optimist Club says there are very few other sources of funds available to help with the expenses.
The charity BBQ will be held on July 26th in Downtown Fergus at the Fergus Medieval Faire from 11am to 5pm.
