The Fergus Freshco now located at 875 St. David Street north officially opened Thursday morning with a ribbon-cutting and traditional Fergus bagpiper.
Store Owner Patrick Anderson was joined by his staff and members of the community including Centre Wellington Mayor Kelly Linton.
Freshco also presented Fred Aleksandrowicz Manager of the Centre Wellington Food Bank with a gift card of $2,500.
The store is now open 24 hours and has expanded its product selection, including a wine and beer section.
