MEDIA RELEASE
CENTRE WELLINGTON – Township staff have been working toward the re-opening of many of our facilities following the Province’s latest announcement. As of Friday, the splash pad located at Millburn Park was re-opened to Centre Wellington families.
“As the Province allows us to proceed with the next phase of our reopening plans, staff have worked diligently to ensure we can safely proceed, and the Millburn Splash pad is a perfect example of this” said Mayor Kelly Linton. “We know that families are excited to get out with their children, especially in the recent hot weather. We ask that you follow the rules and regulations in place so that we can keep these facilities open, and safe for everyone”.
To protect everyone’s health during COVID-19, a reduced number of children will be allowed to use the splash pad at one time. We ask that you limit your child’s visit to the splash pad to 30 minutes, if there is a line waiting to access the facility. The Millburn Park Splash pad will operate from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

- Limit your visit to 30 minutes if others are waiting
- A maximum of 10 participants are allowed on the splash pad at one time
- Stay at least 6 ft. /2 m apart
- Do not share personal belongings, toys or food

- Clean your belongings before and after using the splash pad
