The Township of Centre Wellington has a new Deputy Mayor. Neil Dunsmore was appointed the role at last night’s council meeting, taking over from Steven VanLeeuwen.
The move comes after the news that VanLeeuwen joined the “End the Lockdowns Caucus” and was photographed in the local paper standing shoulder to shoulder with other caucus members, indoors, without masks all while the stay-at-home order was in effect.

Mayor Linton went on to congratulate Neil and believes he will serve the community well in the 2 years remaining in the term.
