FERGUS – All charges have been dropped against a Fergus woman in relation to a bomb threat at the Fergus Walmart back in November of 2019.
On November 19, 2019, Wellington County OPP received a report of a threat against a business located on St. David Street North in Fergus.
In a press release issued on November 19th, 2019 from the OPP, it said “A note was located indicating that there was a ‘bomb’ in the business. The building was evacuated until the threat was deemed a hoax.”
According to a letter provided to The Grand at 101 and her son Dan Gray, Marjorie Anne Gray, of Fergus, has had all charges dropped that included Uttering Threats, Falsifying Information, and Mischief contrary to the criminal code.
In a court appearance in Guelph Wednesday, Gray was found not guilty of the charges and entered into a peace bond not to return to the store for one year.
