ELORA – Wellington County OPP continue to investigate after a person was found injured below the David Street Bridge in Elora.
On Tuesday morning at approximately 10:30 am emergency services attended and located an individual without vital signs. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Wellington County OPP along with the Wellington County OPP Crime Unit and the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario (OCCO) are investigating the death.
Police say they believe this to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to public safety.
David Street was closed between Wellington Road 7 and Smith St but has since re-opened.
