Remembrance Day is approaching but the commemorative day will look somewhat different again due to the ongoing pandemic.
Randy Graham, President of the Fergus Royal Canadian Legion Branch 275, says this year there will again, be no parade.
Regarding the road closure on Tower Street in front of the cenotaph, Graham says the Legion is talking with Wellington County OPP but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
Graham says all the wreaths that are normally carried by sponsors will be pre-laid at the cenotaph, before the shortened service.
Remembrance day is on Thursday, November 11th this year, the Fergus Remembrance Day service will start at 10:45 am at the Fergus Cenotaph.
Graham says they will not discourage people from attending as they did last year.
