The 24-year-old scored 87.75 on her first run in her Olympic debut, which was high enough to secure the bronze medal.
In 2018, Karker served as first alternate for the Olympic event and went on to earn silver at the 2021 world championships.
Cassie Sharpe of Calgary took home the silver with a score of 90.75.
The Canadians trailed behind China’s teen sensation Eileen Gu who scored a 95.25 for the gold.
