FERGUS – In January, the Fergus Scottish Festival announced that it was optimistically planning towards presenting a live event as it continues to monitor the pandemic.
Elizabeth Bender Executive Director says the Festival organizers are now thrilled to be in a position to begin ticket sales.
Bender says tickets will go on sale at 10 am on Tartan Day: Wednesday, April 6, 2022.
The 2022 Fergus Scottish Festival takes place August 12 – 14th with plans to bring guests the best the Festival has to offer and will feature the four pillars: Heavy Events, Highland Dance, Clans & Heritage, and Pipes & Drums.
Bender says they are also very excited to welcome back the Red Hot Chili Pipers.
Hosting the first live event since the start of the pandemic, Bender says the Festival Board of Directors noted that the priority continues to be the safety for everyone involved.
Festival President, David Radley stated in a newsletter, “The Festival is working closely with our partners at the Municipality and Public Health to ensure the event surpasses safety expectations and will follow the local public health guidelines in the delivery of our world-class event.”
Bender says Ticket sales will be available at www.fergusscottishfestival.com
The Festival says it is grateful for the steadfast support received throughout the past two years and as they return to the traditional live event in August.
