Groves Memorial Community Hospital is to receive $2.5 million dollars in additional funding from the provincial government.
MPP for Perth-Wellington, Randy Pettapiece, made the announcement as part of a $5.2 million dollar investment in hospitals in the Wellington and Perth areas.
North Wellington Health Care will receive an additional $400,000.
The province says the funding for 2022-2023 is to aid in delivering procedures for patients, and also deal with COVID-19.
According to the Ministry of Health, hospitals across the province will see a minimum funding increase of two per cent.
