Hundreds of people in the Grand listening area have already taken advantage of the ability to vote by mail in the upcoming provincial election.
More than 700 vote by mail kits have been sent to voters in the ridings of Perth-Wellington and Wellington Halton Hills.
Across the province more than 53 thousand of the kits have been mailed out, just two weeks after registration for the option was opened up.
Voting by mail has been a part of the Ontario election for years, but with pandemic restrictions, Elections Ontario is expecting a huge increase.
You must register for your vote by mail kit by May 27th. Completed forms can be turned into a local returning office, or mailed back. But the package must be at Elections Ontario by 6 pm on June 2nd in order to be counted.
