A new festival, centered on wellness and healing is coming to the area in early August.
The Coming Home festival will be held near Grand Valley from August 5th through to the 7th.
In addition to a variety of musical performers, the festival will also feature holistic practitioners, a variety of artisans and a number of other vendors.
Organizer Christine LaRock says the festival “celebrates the healing of the soul”, something she believes is very timely given the difficult conditions over the last couple of years.
“We all recognize how music can make us feel” says LaRock. The festival takes that a step further, by melding the healing property of music with other health and wellness techniques.
There are both day passes available, as well as weekend camping packages. However LaRock says she wants to ensure the festival remains an intimate event for attendees, so there is a limit on the number of people who can attend.
