CENTRE WELLINGTON – Centre Wellington Hydro says all residents in Fergus that experienced a power outage have now had their power restored.

At around 7:09pm Friday evening Centre Wellington Fire & Rescue were called to an address on Victoria Terrace between Glencoe Ave and Forfar Street East. Crews had that area blocked off while the repairs take place.
Centre Wellington Hydro said approximately 300 residents in Fergus were without power due to the large tree limb fallen on Hydro Lines.

Wellington County OPP were also on scene at the intersection of St David Street North and Garafraxa St East for traffic lights out.
Power has since been restored.
