The Fergus Rotary Club is putting the final touches on their Canada Day celebrations.
President Leanne Iravani says the fireworks will get underway at 9:45 p.m. but says there will be lots of other events including their family and kids center which will feature a fashion show, bingo, photo walls and more.
She says that will get underway at 4 pm.
Elora will kick off their celebrations with a pancake breakfast.
Centre Wellington Rotary Club Spokesperson Lisa MacDonald says the breakfast is the first event in a packed schedule that includes a soapbox derby, a parade, and the duck race.
Ducks can be purchased while you are waiting in line for your pancakes.
She says the parade will kick off at 11:00 a.m. and there is still plenty of time to be part of the route.
Don’t forget there will be music and dancers and Bissell Park along with free hotdogs.
