A local teen has lost her battle with cancer following a large community fundraising event.
14 year old Addison Hill from Elora passed away on Sunday.
In 2021, she was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer known as Angiosarcoma.
The Team Addy Instagram page confirmed the news yesterday with a post.
She was the focus of a Family Fun Day and basketball tournament that took place over the weekend at Centre Wellington District High School to raise money for SickKids sarcoma cancer research.
The event saw hundreds of people take part in various activities and events that were planned for the day.
