FERGUS – The 2022 Fergus Scottish Festival is fast approaching, and many are looking forward to the first LIVE in person event in two years.
The festival takes place August 12 to 14th featuring the four pillars: Heavy Events, Highland Dance, Clans & Heritage, and Pipes & Drums.
Elizabeth Bender Executive Director says this year the festival is excited to share a song dedicated to Fergus and the festival written by a familiar performer.
Leask says he has been going to the festival now for 12 years and found the sense of community inspiring to write the song.
Bender says the festival is looking at this as a legacy piece for all who are involved with the festival.
Leask will perform “Tartan Kiss of Fergus” LIVE at the Friday night Tattoo as part of a premiere presentation with 80 dancers.
The song is also available FREE for download at www.tartankiss.com
