NEWS RELEASE WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP
(NORTH WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for the public’s assistance regarding a break and enter that occurred at a construction site in North Wellington Township.
On August 4, 2022, the Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a break and enter that had occurred sometime overnight at a construction site on Concession 4, North Wellington Township. Unknown person(s) gained entry to the site and stole approximately $10,000 worth of tools and supplies.
The Wellington County OPP is asking any person with further information regarding this incident to please contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a tip on-line at www.csgw.tips. You may be eligible for a reward from Crime Stoppers of up to $2,000.
The Wellington County OPP would also like to remind the public to protect their property by always storing valuables such as tools and equipment in a location that can be properly locked and secured.
