MOUNT FOREST – Wellington North Fire Service responded to a garage fire Saturday afternoon in Mount Forest.
Firefighters were called to an address on Main Street between Durham Street and Sligo Road.
Fire officials say the fire was extinguished and crews performed overhaul to check for extension into the house.
No injuries were reported to any occupants or firefighters and officials say everyone evacuated safely.
Officials say the damage is mostly contained to the garage and the cause is accidental in nature.
There is no estimate on damage.
