CENTRE WELLINGTON – Shawn Watters has been elected Mayor of the Township of Centre Wellington.
Watters went up against Neil Dunsmore, and Bob Foster.
Mayor-elect Shawn Watters had a total of 4,105 votes, Neil Dunsmore came in second with 3,417 votes, and Bob Foster in third with 1,529 votes.

Meanwhile Centre Wellington council will have six new councillors including:
Ward 1: Lisa MacDonald
Ward 2: Kimberley Jefferson
Ward 3: Barbara Lustgarten-Evoy
Ward 4: Jennifer Adams
Ward 5: Bronwynne Wilton
Ward 6: Dennis Craddock
Councillors Ian Macrae, Steven VanLeeuwen and Stephen Kitras did not seek re-election this year.
The three County of Wellington Council seats remain the same.
Stephen O’Neill was acclaimed in Ward 4.
Mary Lloyd was re-elected in Ward 5.
Diane Ballantyne was re-elected in Ward 6.
Marina Hanenberg and Andrew Finoro have been acclaimed as trustees for the Upper Grand District School Board and Wellington Cathlic District School Board respectively.
