NEWS RELEASE COUNTY OF WELLINGTON
ABOYNE – The Wellington County Museum and Archives welcomes all residents and visitors to the second annual Christmas Market on Friday, November 25, from 4:00 to 9:00 pm, and Saturday, November 26, from 12:00 to 5:00 pm.
The event provides an opportunity to ring in the festive holiday season while shopping for unique gifts from more than 70 local artisans. There will also be live musical entertainment, delicious local food and beverages, horse-drawn wagon rides, kids crafts and activities, and a visit from Santa Claus.
“Back by popular demand, the Christmas Market at the museum promises to get the whole family in the holiday spirit,” said WCMA Programme Assistant Emily Peters. “The event provides a tremendous opportunity to support local artisans while also sourcing one-of-a-kind, handmade gifts for the holidays.”
Admission to the Christmas Market is by donation, which is held on the grounds outside the museum and in the museum galleries.
