PUSLINCH -Wellington County OPP are investigating after catalytic converters were stolen from several work trucks at a gravel pit in Aberfoyle.
Constable Joshua Cunningham says investigators discovered that overnight (Thursday) unknown persons entered the compound, turned over seven vehicles and removed their catalytic converters.
Cunningham says catalytic converters are part of a vehicles exhaust system that has precious medals in it, he says these can be valuable to recyclers.
OPP continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information related to this crime or have access to surveillance footage in this area to contact Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
Police say investigators are looking to identify a White Ford F-250 single cab, with a steel rear bed liner and toolbox that was in the area.
