Guelph MPP and Ontario Green Party Leader Mike Schreiner isn’t ruling out a bid for the leadership of the Ontario Liberals.
A group of Liberals including former cabinet ministers Deb Matthews and Liz Sandals released a letter on Sunday urging Schreiner to join the party and run for the leadership.
Former Liberal Leader Steven Del Duca stepped down last year following the party’s election loss.
Yesterday, Schreiner responded by stating he is going to take time to think about their request.
However, he says at this time he has no plans to lead any party other than the Greens, but first wants to hear from his Guelph constituents, along with family and friends.
