NEWS RELEASE WATERLOO REGIONAL POLICE SERVICE
Waterloo Region, Ontario – Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Robbery Unit are continuing to investigate a robbery that occurred at Conestoga Mall on February 2, 2023.
The subjects used hammers and batons to smash display cases while stealing merchandise.
Investigators are seeking at least one other suspect in connection to the robbery.
An unknown male suspect forced a family out of their Grey Honda HRV vehicle while attempting to flee.
The male then fled in the vehicle, which was last seen travelling south on King Street North in Waterloo.
The suspect has been described as a Black male, approximately late 20s to early 30s, 5’10” tall, around 230 pounds, with long curly hair tied back in a bun, and a short beard.
The investigation is ongoing.
