FERGUS – Some of the details of the 78th Fergus Scottish Festival are being revealed.
The Festival President and Executive Director spoke to council at yesterday’s meeting.
President Matthew Bennett-Monty says the festival has secured a big event with worldwide popularity.
He says this summer’s festival will also celebrate the 190th anniversary of Fergus.
With council reconfiguring community grant procedures, Bennett-Monty says they will apply where and when necessary.
He says capital and programming grants will help to ensure the festival can be even more successful as the recovery from COVID-19 continues.
The festival runs August 11-13.
