After only one season, the Erin Blitz are moving.
The Western Ontario Super Hockey League team is now the Orangeville Blitz.
The team will debut in Orangeville on Saturday nights in October at Alder Arena.
Erin’s team finished 6th in the league after its inaugural season.
In a Facebook post, officials with the Blitz thanked their fans and sponsors in Erin.
Meanwhile, the Elora Rocks have been eliminated by the Stratford Fighting Irish in the semi-finals.
The Rocks finished 4th in the league.
