WELLINGTON COUNTY – Local Conservative MP Michael Chong says the new Federal Budget is going to hurt rural areas of Wellington Halton Hills.
He says that is why the conservatives are not going to support the budget.
Chong says the Conservatives are going to make the argument on the floor of the house of commons that the Liberal government continues to double down on its “failed approach.”
Chong says the budget is going to lead to “less affordability and less prosperity for Canadiens.”
The 2023 federal budget, tabled Tuesday includes billions in new spending on health care, including expanding the dental care program. There’s also a major focus on spending on clean technology and the green economy.
