Drayton’s ball diamonds will have a fresh new look, as they launch their new and improved playing surfaces this Saturday following renovations.
The transformation was possible through funding from the Ontario Trillum Foundation.
Lucas Rogerson, Parks and Facilities Manager for Mapleton Township, said the improvements will benefit both players and fans.
Rogerson says diamond A and B will now be lit up to allow for even more games to take place.
A ceremony will be held tomorrow at the ball diamonds on John Street, at 11:00 a.m.
