As you heard on The Grand on Friday, drivers in one area of Elora will need to be prepared for some detours today.
East Mill Street from Metcalfe to Melville will be under construction with a completion date not until sometime in 2024.

Wider sidewalks and a new crosswalk at Bissell Park highlight a project that, for the first time, will include an on-site public relations officer designed to help update pedestrians on construction progress and aid in their navigation.
The township says the project hopes to replace aging infrastructure in the area.
During phases one and two of construction, affected areas will be fenced off as a public safety measure.
