FERGUS – The Fergus Lions Club is getting ready to host their 44th Annual Home & Leisure Show at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex.
The show will take place over three nights from May 10th-12th between 5:30pm-9:30pm.
Fergus Lions Club President, Margaret Murray says this year’s show will feature local businesses specializing in home, garden, and leisure services.
Murray says this is the club’s biggest fundraiser.
She says proceeds from the show and other fund-raising activities will help support club projects including:
- Groves Memorial Community Hospital
- Diabetes Canada
- Centre Wellington Food Bank
- International Lions Youth Exchange
- Fergus and District Minor Sports Groups
- Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides
- Wellington County Learning Centre
- Grand River Arboretum
- Roadside Cleanup
Murray says the show will also include food trucks nightly, a kid zone, and more.
Admission is free but organizers ask that visitors bring a non-perishable donation for the Centre Wellington Food Bank.
Be sure to stop by The Grand at 101 booth, meet the team, and see the Community Cruiser!
