The County of Wellington has purchased 59, 69 and 75 Woolwich Street from the Wellington Catholic District School Board for the purposes of future office space and parking.
A bylaw to approve the purchase was approved by council on June 30th of last year.
Since, the two involved have negotiated and reached an agreement to finalize the purchase.
The board, according to a county report, is looking forward to moving to a new Catholic Education Centre that offers greater accessibility to the public and staff.
The County purchased the properties for over $5.5 million.
