New infrastructure including a roundabout and interchange will be coming to Wellington County with construction set to wrap up in 2025.
The interchange will be located on the Hanlon Expressway North of Wellington Road 34, while the roundabout is to be installed at Concession Road 7 and Wellington Road 34.
County Engineer Don Kudo says there are three stages of construction: the first of which is already underway.
He also noted while the province handles construction, the infrastructure will be a crucial part of county roadways down the line.
County staff, per the latest report, will be working with provincial transportation staff as well as Puslinch officials to assume road infrastructure in the future. The new connecting road will be named Wellington Road 53, and will result in approximately 1.35 kilometres of new road to be assumed by the County.
