ELORA – The Annual Giant Book Sale returned to the Elora Curling Club on the weekend of May 5th-7th.
The Book Sale has been raising funds for the Elora Festival since 1989, starting out as a small sale and eventually moving to its current location.
In a post to social media, the Elora Festival said the book sale raised a record-breaking $65,903.
The festival says the funds will help bring world-class performances to Elora this summer.
“We are so grateful to the Book Sale Volunteers who worked tirelessly to organize and execute this crucial fundraising event. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication throughout the year, and during the busy lead-up to the event.” the festival said.
The Elora Festival will take place over two weekends this year from July 7-16th.
