GUELPH – A male faces several charges after being tracked by the owner of stolen Apple Airpods.
On Monday evening, Guelph Police say they were called to Stone Road Mall where they found a male under arrest by mall security.
Police say the owner of Airpods stolen earlier in the day from a vehicle tracked them to the mall and confronted a male, who was then detained by security. Investigation revealed debit and credit cards also stolen from the vehicle had been used at various businesses in the city.
A 32-year-old Guelph male is charged with possessing stolen property under $5,000, unauthorized use of a credit card, breach of probation and failing to comply with an undertaking.
