**PRESS RELEASE – TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON
The Township is excited to announce a Community Partnership with Jefferson Elora Corporation (JEC). JEC has purchased the naming rights for the Elora Community Centre for the next 10 years and the agreement will begin on January 1st, 2024, when the facility is scheduled to re-open following extensive renovations.
“The Township takes great pride in offering facilities, programs, and services to support active living and healthy lifestyles in Centre Wellington,” said Mayor Watters. “The partnership with JEC will allow the Township to deliver opportunities above and beyond what we could have done. Thank you JEC for investing into your community.”
This meaningful investment into our community by JEC is an annual investment of $78,200 for a total of $782,000 over the next 10 years. Naming rights agreements provide the Township with alternative funding sources to benefit the quality of life for those who live in Centre Wellington.
“Jefferson Elora Corporation (JEC) is excited to partner with the township on this initiative. Investing in active living and health and wellness programs within our shared community, is a valued opportunity for our team” said Deborah Hoffman – Human Resources Manager, Jefferson Elora Corporation.
