On July 22nd, at approximately 1:45 a.m., Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the Township of Wellington North and entered into an intimate partner violence investigation.
As a result of the investigation, a 30 year old of the Township of Wellington North has been charged with assault with a weapon.
The accused is scheduled to appear in a Guelph court at a later date.
