Elora and Fergus firefighters as well as the Belwood & District Lions Club will be before council today seeking approval for toll booths.
September 16th will mark the date of the Lions Club setting up a toll booth on North Belwood Bridge, fundraising for Diabetes Canada.
The same day, the Elora Firefighters Association on behalf of Muscular Dystrophy Canada, will have a toll booth on Metcalfe Street bridge in
Elora.
Fergus Firefighters will be fundraising on behalf of the same organization, earlier in the month- September 9th on Tower Street in Fergus.
All three fundraising efforts will require council approval in today’s meeting. The meeting takes place at 1 MacDonald square tonight at 6 p.m..
