ELORA – Riverfest Elora setup is underway with gates set for 3 p.m. this afternoon.
As vendors begin to settle in and the Riverfest team prepares for Peter Piper to hit the stage in Bissell Park at 5:45 p.m. this evening, Merchandise Coordinator Rick Almeida told The Grand the community benefits of the music festival are immense.
The Reklaws headline tonight’s lineup, bringing their hits to the main stage at 9:30.

Decorations are beginning to come together ahead of opening night.

Artist Liason Coordinator Cecilia Cheng says Metric’s return to the main stage Saturday night will be a highlight.
Almeida says he expects to see 3500 to 4000 people today alone. The lineup also features the likes of JJ Wilde and Talk tomorrow night, before Metric finishes off the evening.

A shuttle bus service will be running throughout the area making stops throughout Elora, Fergus, Guelph and Waterloo, including a stop at the Centre Wellington Sportsplex.
Meanwhile, East Mill Street is closed at Melville outside the park.

Vendors are present and ready, and there is an accessible viewing area and washrooms in prime viewing distance of the main stage.

Feist will be the last to hit the stage at Bissell Park, closing out the Sunday bill.
