MOUNT FOREST – The water tower in Mount Forest is back in business.
Wellington North Township says the rehabilitation of the tower, called a standpipe, has been completed and is in service again.
Officials say a contractor will be onsite in September for site restoration.
Located on Parkside Drive, the tower was drained and taken out of commission in May for a $1.5 million rehabilitation project.
The project included a new interior lining and a fresh coat of paint on the outside, while maintaining the “High, Healthy, Happy” slogan.
Regular water restrictions apply at this time.
Even house numbers can water on even calendar days and odd house numbers water on odd calendar days.
