CAMBRIDGE – A kitten is in the care of veterinarian services, after being discovered by a Cambridge OPP officer.
In a post to social media on Friday, OPP said after stopping a vehicle on Highway 7/8 one of their officers heard a sound coming from the ditch.
“A few minutes later, as the officer was speaking with the driver, a kitten emerged from the grass and sat at the officers’ feet.” police said.
In a video, the officer is seen picking the kitten up and taking it back to its cruiser and was taken to a local veterinarian service.
As for the driver, they were cautioned and sent on their way.
