CENTRE WELLINGTON – Two Centre Wellington developments got approved by council Monday night.
The first was a proposed subdivision called Pastures Edge located off Sideroad 4 in the Hamlet of Inverhaugh.

40 lots for single detached dwellings are to be serviced by private wells and individual private septic systems.
Draft plan approval was supported by the township prior to draft approval being granted by Wellington County in November of 2021.
The final go-ahead was given by township staff last night.
The second proposal to be approved was a townhouse development on the west side of Wellington Road 7 in the Elora-Salem Urban Centre.

Approximately 275 townhouse dwelling units are included in the proposal by MHBC Planning.

According to the report in front of council at last night’s meeting, a variety of housing types will be included involving back-to-back and street townhouse units.
