GUELPH/ERAMOSA – A bylaw amendment was passed in Guelph/Eramosa today regarding property standards.
The amendment deals with issues such as parking and water drainage.
The new bylaw will restrict parking for vehicles on anything other than an “appropriately finished surface,” according to a report. Restricted areas will include grass or any other soft-scaped material.
The report also states discharge of sump pumps, pools, hot tubs and more will also be addressed as part of the new laws.
No roof drainage shall be discharged or channeled onto walkways, stairs, or onto adjacent lands.
