ELORA – Construction is set to begin Monday on the bridge rehabilitation project for the Elora Gorge Bridge on Wellington Road 7.
In September, Wellington County council awarded a $443,000 tender to HugoMB Contracting Inc.
Work will include concrete patch repairs on the barrier walls and substructure, local sidewalk replacement and aluminum railing repairs.
According to the County website two narrow lanes of traffic will remain open at all times, however drivers can expect delays and the use of a n alternate route is recommended.
The county says oversized loads should re-route around the project.
Work will begin on Monday, October 16th and is expected to be finished by the end of November.
