WELLINGTON COUNTY – “Pivotal to who we are as a county,” Chris White and the rest of Wellington County council unveiled a new ‘Lest we Forget: Remembering our Fallen Soldiers Plaque’ at a meeting Thursday.
White and councillor Jeff Duncan both spoke to the importance of honouring those who made the ultimate sacrifice within the county.
Nearly 500 names are listed on the plaque, in memory of the soldiers from communities across the region.
